Thank you Lucy Cooke for this wonderful book that I can show my friends who think my love of sloths is a bit kooky. They are precious, and your words and photos demonstrate that perfectly. My six year old daughter loves this book of sloth. The pictures of the sloths are beautiful, adorable and amazing. The books has so many facts that I didn't even know about these amazing creatures. The book is full of pictures of sloths at a sanctuary in Costa Rica. The books talks about the injured or orphaned sloths. My daughter favorite picture is the sloth with teddy bear. My heart went out for the sloths who were wrapped up with bandage. I recommend you do get this book because part of the proceed goes to the sloths and the pictures in the book are breath taken.

Cute overload, and some surprising information about sloths - their bathroom habits are fascinating. I read this book immediately upon leaving the library, and in fact, I could not help but read it AGAIN, but this time aloud to my driver (never read & drive kids) who learned more about sloths than he ever knew he wanted to know.I really wish I had this book in my school library because it would NEVER be on the shelf; this I can say with confidence.
