Pink Princess

My granddaughter loves princesses and the color pink. She was very excited to receive this book which is both pink and princessy. She loves to look at the colorful pictures and enjoys having the book read to her. I would recommend it for younger children since the it doesn't contain a lot of words.

Too Princessy=Too Boring

I couldn't completely give this book zero stars because the illustrations were decent. ON the other hand the text was well Too Little, Too Boring. The story had no Wow factor for my daughter, as I was reading it she was looking else where except for the page that said "too goopy" when she decided she liked that page and asked to play with Play Doh instead of continuing. I must admit that the my daughter "judged a book by its cover" and picked it out because it was pink and she was wearing a crown. I do not recommend this book.

I thought this was more of a story that described getting too much princess or the down side of the princess rut. That is a book I'd like to read to my daughter. Instead this was 2 word phrases on each page that had no link then an abrupt end. Illustrations however were good.
