Big. colorful foldouts and cute animal illustrations make this book a winner. The flaps might tear easily with younger children but with older toddlers and a little care this book will last a long time. Note: you'll have to name animals since there are no names in the book but that's part of the fun! The illustrations capture the emotions and special words then appear under the flaps that descripe the feeling.Book provided by publisher.

We love this book in addition to the opposites book. The illustrations are cute and my son loves going through each page and opening the flaps. This book taught him emotions "I say sad, you say... Cry" (with a tearful alligator). I love when we to the tired/sleepy page - instead of "yawn" my son actually yawns and says "ah seepy." Great book! Very cute when little ones repeat it.

I'm a big fan of Tad Carpenter illustrations so knew I had to get this series for my sweet little nephew. The colors are great and the illustrations are charming. My nephew loves this book series!
