I bought this book for my baby when he was 6 months old and he still shows the same excitement for it now at 12 months! In the beginning, I taught him to touch and feel the shapes and textures. Now he does it on his own and loves to turn the pages to see what's next. He especially loves the firefighter and "sticky cherries!" He enjoys the simple and colorful quality of the book. Since he's still too young and impatient for a story, this book is great. A great starter book for any baby and encourages conversation between the parent and child.

The book has great colors but the textures are practically the same for the fish, the snake & the star fish. The sand castles are sandpapery & the cherry pies are sticky which are fun. Otherwise, Touch & Feel Farm is a much better book out of the two.

I was looking for book with lots of textures for my son.He loves to touch the different surfaces and this was a great book. The colors are very vivid and there are lots of things to touch (scratchy, soft, silky, etc.).
