I bought this book for my 18-months-old son a week ago and we already love it! The beautifully created pictures represent highly relatable images of Ben and his bear toy during their daily activities. You can see Ben waking up with his bear on his bed, or having breakfast together, or playing at the sandpit, etc. Each picture, because of its simplicity and closeness to the day to day of a toddler, makes my little boy to point and to happily comment on something. More than simply reading a book, Ben Loves Bear makes us talk with the book! Other nice details of Ben Loves Bear are: the story follows the sequence of a day from morning to night, which gives a sense of time and narrative that is really helpful for little ones. I also really like the simplicity of the text, because by repeating the sentence structure it allows young kids to learn vocabulary and to follow along. My son has started repeating two-word sentences while reading this book! In sum, you can tell this book has been done by someone that really cares about development and about children in general. Happy to have bought it!

My two year old grandson LOVES his new book. He loves to sit with and book a "read" out loud to himself. Great choice!

My son Benjamin loves his Ben Loves Bear book. We bought it for him because of the name of course. He loves "reading" it with us and often brings it over and sits on our lap with it. The text is simple and repetitive which is perfect t for toddlers. We would recommend it especially if you have "Ben" yourself.
