A cat with flair to spare, an Easter Bunny with a job to do, and a hilarious break from sticky-sweet Easter fare for fans of Patrick McDonnell and the Pigeon books by Mo Willems.
Why should the Easter Bunny get all the love? That's what Cat would like to know. So he decides to take over: He dons his sparkly suit, jumps on his Harley, and roars off into the night. But it turns out delivering Easter eggs is hard work. And it doesn't leave much time for naps (of which Cat has taken five--no, seven). So when a pooped-out Easter Bunny shows up, and with a treat for Cat, what will Cat do? His surprise solution will be stylish, smart, and even--yes--kind.
An homage to classic comic strips from the author of The Quiet Book and The Loud Book, this Easter treat has a bit of bite, a sweet center, and a satisfying finish—sure to inspire second helpings.

Everybody loves the Easter Bunny... well, everybody, that is, except Cat. Cat has a plan to steal Easter from the bunny we all know and love. Soon, everyone will love Easter Cat, in all his sparkly, motorcycle riding glory. Except, Cat loves naps, and delivering millions of eggs in one night doesn't leave a lot of time for sleep. With this in mind, Cat has hatches a new plan that leaves time for that important eighth daily nap. Readers will love Cat's antics and hilarious expressions in this adorable story of unexpected friendship and teamwork.

Unique and engaging. A wonderful addition to a classroom seasonal collection or home library. Lovely size for little hands and an adorable story. Simply beautiful illustrations. One of my favorite spring titles.

What a fantastic book! Underwood is a fantastic writer who can use the simplest phrase to create a big impact (See also her Quiet Book). Cat is funny, mischievous, and sweetly selfish yet also genuinely wants to be helpful (just like most little kids!). The illustrations are lovely and mesh perfectly with the story. The perfect book for lap reading or sharing with a loved one.
