Animal Stories is a collaboration of Jane Yolen and her three adult children and is beautifully illustrated by Jui Ishida.It contains a collection of 19 moving stories from around the world from the years 350 BC to 2012.Some of the stories are new to me and others are more accurate versions of familiar stories.It is a very interesting and heartwarming book that any child will cherish.

This is a very well-done book, exactly what I would expect from Jane Yolen. Fun to pick up and read parts here and there with my grandson.
