5Fun textures and details; I've included a list of textures found in the book,
By SimpleGirl
We have read all 8 of the Noodle Loves series. I think they are the best touch and feel type board books I've seen so far. It is pretty obvious that most toddler board books do not have a lot of plot or storyline since they are only about 6 pages long. For this type of "touch and feel" book, I look at the quality, size and variety of textures as well as the durability of the board book itself. My 1 1/2 year old has loved the textures in these books much more than DK Baby Touch and Feel. And while they are not as durable as the Usborne That's Not My series that have a glossy, thick cover, they are still fairly sturdy books and I like that these books have basic scenes on each page and have the same characters (usually Noodle, mommy, sometimes daddy). We bought all eight titles from Walmart online at a more competitive price than what I found on Amazon. These books have vibrant illustrations and have a simple story line about Noodle the panda ("Noodle loves...Noodle loves" with a basic rhyme structure). The story is over quickly but keeps my son's attention.I rate the 8 of the series in this order (the first five I think are best, the other three I don't think are worth buying):Noodle Loves BedtimeNoodle Loves the FarmNoodle Loves the ZooNoodle Loves the BeachNoodle Loves to EatNoodle Loves to CuddleNoodle Loves to DriveNoodle Loves the ParkNoodle Loves the Zoo features a lot of good-sized textures and details:It has an elephant ear (like faux leather) (cover), zebra "fur", bear velvet brown fur, a felt tree lift-the-flap that shows monkeys underneath, door made of textured cardstock, and a mirror pond

5NoodleLoves
By Karen Novak
I rated this highly because I read this book, checked the sensory clues "bits and pieces (that is, some parts of the illustrations)" & knowing various youngsters for a long time: children starting to be out of their home at a few weeks or toddler-age, I see that most children enjoy feeling things in book. Examples: soft furry cloth (ie, for a portion of bear illustration), & a slightly rubbery feel of some plastic (gate of giraffe area). Packing was good & it arrived in excellent condition. It will be a gift; parents of children, & older siblings and friends who'll read it to children will be happy, & the children themselves will enjoy the book's wording, colorful pictures, & probably all will like the nonbreakable "mirror" in the book! Thanks K

4Great Touch and Feel Book
By Elizabeth Diehl
My one year old LOVES noodle! These wonderful board books provide a variety of touch and feel objects on each page and a mirror at the end. Each book has a cute little rhyme explaining the pictures and Noodle's adventure. Here noodle goes to the zoo and gets to see lots of different animals.
