superb for learning to locate and identify constellations

This book included a great planisphere and easy to understand explanations of the constellations in the night sky. The illustrations help to understand how the constellations are intended to appear and make finding them much simpler if (like me) you're just getting into basic star viewing. I paired the purchase of this book with a green laser because the latter makes for an invaluable tool when sharing your new found knowledge of the skies.
