My 10 year-old loved it!

My 10 year old daughter has friends reading many YA books, however she is not interested in teen romances or drama. This book had the 3 things she loves to read about the most: Veterinarians and pets, kids solving mysteries and fantasy. There are 2 books in this series so far and she is excited for the 3rd. She did think it was a little too short, but I enjoyed the fact that the story did not involve teen issues or heavy topics, since I feel that 10 is too young for that. Finding books for Middle Schoolers is easy, but they all seem alike. This book stood out and is highly recomended by my daughter and her mom.

Cute new series

A great option for your advanced 1-3 grade readers. This is a nice, new series that is a fun read aloud but also works well as a read along for more advanced younger readers. Probably little appeal past 4th grade but perfect for younger kids who want fantasy books that aren't super complicated or violent.

From an eight year old perspectiveIt is a really good book. There are a lot of fun characters. My favorite part is when Mr. Tabby turns into a cat again. I can't wait to read the next book.
