Peek-A-Zoo! Details

Read the clue . . . guess the animal . . . giggle wildly . . . and repeat! At long last, board book virtuoso Nina Laden has created a companion to her beloved classic Peek-a Who? (one of Scholastic magazine's 100 Greatest Books for Kids with more than 800,000 copies sold). Colorful pictures and a lively, rhyming text help children predict what animal is peeking through die-cut windows. The anticipation of what's hiding on the next page and the bright, engaging illustrations will keep youngsters laughing and learning all the way to the surprise ending.

My 15 month old LOVES Peek-a-who and now also Peek-a-zoo! Great sequel! The pics are great and it's so simple & entertaining to read this book. She especially loves the last page, "Peek-a-you" and the mirror so she can see her own reflection. MUST BUY!

4Cute follow-up a 3 year-old can "read"
By KatsMom
I bought this for my 3 year-old's birthday and she loves it. After shunning board books for almost a year, she started pulling them out again at bed time. She wanted to "read" to me, just like her big sister does for school, so she needed to focus on the books that were simple. I point at the words, and she "reads" them to me from memory. She also likes reading them to her babies when she's putting them to bed. Because one of her favorites as of late has been Peek-a-Who, I decided to buy her this for a change of pace. She, of course, picked it right up and has now added it to her regular rotation. I'd definitely recommend it for any child who enjoyed Peek-a-Who. I gave it only 4 stars, because I'm sure it will be a short-lived favorite, but, I still think it was a worthwhile purchase.
