Patrick Lewis and Douglas Florian, and creatively illustrated by Jeremy Holmes is book for children that brings songs about wacky cars – due to its creativity, of both text and pictures, it will become certainly one of the favorite picture books of your older preschool child.On its pages a young little reader will find the handful of crazy cars designs each of them sang about in songs of these two great authors.And although the book text is interesting and funny, the attention of reader will be inevitably immediately directed to the illustrations that have been made over the entire page, with countless details and colors - what makes you want each of them to be increased to the size of the poster in order to beautify your child's room.Therefore, “Poem-mobiles: Crazy Car Poems” can certainly be recommended for slightly older children in which they’ll enjoy watching the beautiful pictures and reading entertaining text.Also if you are looking for the ideal gift book for some other preschool children, this book I would definitely recommend to take into your consideration.

I love this book. We just received it as a gift and it already looks five years old from all of the sticky-fingered "self reading" by our three year old son. The poems are crisp and smart, and the illustrations are playful but mature. It offers a nice respite away from the commercial dribble we're normally inundated with. Bravo to its team of collaborators.
