The pictures are darling in this over-sized book. Every page generated discussion of bears, monkeys, etc as we watched the little panda search for the perfect hug for him. Two little boys cheered (!) when the last page revealed... yes, another panda with the perfect hug, one he could hug back. There is no rejection of other sizes because each found a better fit than panda.We love this book.

This is a very cute book which I gave as a birthday present to my adult neighbor. She and us, too, lost close family members suddenly last year, barely 3 months apart (she, her husband and us, a son). We have supported each other with loads of hugs! I felt this book really fit our situationss. I told her that she could read it to her grandson when he was older.
