I bought the first book for my three year old granddaughter(and her dad) who lived in the mountains and had several bird feeders in theiryard and had trouble keeping the squirrels out. When she got the book she really laughed at the squirrels' antics. So,I naturally got ...and the cat next door and ...fly south. You should see her shake her fist and say, "those darn squirrels". Now her 22 months old sister tries to do it too. Fun for our whole family.

5We LOVE these squirrels and Old Man Fookwire

We started reading Those Darn Squirrels to our 4 year old son and he soon had everyone in the family reading the book to him and smiling. On a date night, my hubby and I walked into a bookstore and found Those Darn Squirrels Fly South and walked into a restaurant and read it together over a cocktail waiting for our dinner laughing and smiling. Our waiter must have thought we were pretty silly but we didnt care. Its nice to see Old Man Fookwire get hugs and laugh. These squirrels are seriously playful smart little pranksters - just like our 4 year old.
